This diagnostic rule is based on the software development guidelines developed by MISRA (Motor Industry Software Reliability Association).
This diagnostic rule is relevant only to C programs. The analyzer issues the warning when it detects one of the following functions: 'qsort', 'bsearch'.
Incorrect use of these functions may result in undefined behavior. To learn more about this, see the documentation on 'qsort' and 'bsearch'.
Here is an example of code triggering this warning:
qsort(arr, cnt, sizeof(int), comp);
The warning is also issued in C programs whenever a macro declaration with one of these names is detected.
