For several months, our team has been actively testing the new parser version, and we've made significant progress. Thanks to users' feedback, we've identified and fixed many analyzer issues. However, our goal is to deliver the most reliable tool possible, so we're continuing the testing process and invite you to join us in this effort.
For over a year, the PVS-Studio development team has been meticulously enhancing our proprietary parser for analyzing C and C++ code. While this update may go unnoticed by most users, it marks a significant milestone that lays the foundation for further analyzer enhancements.
Great news for Linux users: in response to your numerous requests, we've added support for testing on Linux! Now users of both Windows and Linux can help us improve the product. If you haven't participated in testing yet—now is the perfect time to join!
Until June 6, 2025, you can test a special version of the analyzer. User feedback is crucial for us at this stage. By the release, we'd like to ensure that the new component doesn't cause any significant analysis slowdowns or instability for users.
How to join the testing?
Just fill out the special form on our website. We will send you an email containing details about the testing, instructions on how to install the beta version, and, if necessary, a temporary PVS-Studio license.
Share your experience!
If you encounter any bugs, crashes, unusual warnings, or performance slowdowns while using the analyzer, please let us know! You can report issues by replying to the instruction email or using our feedback form. We greatly appreciate all feedback, bug reports, and suggestions.
