Investigation "Market overview of tools for multicore software development"

Nov 08 2010
Author:

At the end of October, 2010, the German Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering (IAO) released an investigation titled "Market overview of tools for multicore software development". IAO is an enterprise located in Shtuttgart (Germany) which investigates questions of the technology management sphere.

A huge 259-page report have collected all the tools that may be useful for multicore software development. It provides classifications of tools and enumerates tasks they solve. The investigation is certainly of interest to those who are already developing or only intend to develop multicore software.

Of course it is very pleasant for our company that this investigation also covers our PVS-Studio product with its set of rules to diagnose errors in OpenMP-code.
