The main task of PVS-Studio team to make a good static code analyzer. Yes, the job of the programmer cannot be called an endless holiday, but this does not mean that the daily working routine is just 8 - hours of sitting at the computer. This is an article about the way we try to combine business with pleasure, namely - we are realizing our creative ideas and make attempts to conquer the internet world.
A programmer is a profession that many people associate with the image of a bearded guy, sitting at the computer in a long old sweater. He doesn't talk much (sometimes at all) and tries "to turn coffee into code".
A joke on the topic: "Two girls chatting: - What is your boyfriend like? - Oh, he is very sociable and friendly... You would not even say that he is a programmer!"
Of course, these are stereotypes. We have taken the liberty to show another side of the software development company. How does the alter ego of PVS-Studio look like? Visit our pages on social nets!
First of all, let me remind you - our company logo is a unicorn, puking a rainbow. Our CTO, Anrey Karpov is often asked: "Why a unicorn and why a rainbow (and why puking)?" Although, he is a programmer, he cannot give any logical explanation of it. "Well...that's a funny pic and it sticks in the memory". Since the logo is so much "fun" we decided to go further. And we started to experiment.
We decided to keep up with fashion and make an Instagram account. We try to stay within the overall concept of images, so we don't misuse the code screenshots computer photos. So, what can you find in the timeline of a @pvsstudio_rus user? Excerpts from the articles published on our blog, funny pictures, lots and lots of unicorn, penguins, as part of our campaign to support the Linux version of PVS-Studio, malicious bugs and occasionally - cute cats.
Our Instagram isn't for programmers only, that's why if you like creative but not always adequate photos, then take a look at our timeline.

Photos are great and it's a lot of fun, but we cannot realize all our ideas. The idea of creating a YouTube channel was born a long time ago in our heads, but there was no desire, mood, star position and other important components. As Richard Branson, a famous British billionaire, founder of Virgin Group, says: "Screw it! Let's do it!"
Having abandoned laziness and modesty, we wrote the first script for a video. The occasion was excellent - preparation for the release of PVS-Studio for Linux. If you haven't seen it yet, check out our channel. Feel free to share your impressions in comments. I hope that by the moment this article is published there will be something crazy and extravagant.

The Internet is the main channel through which we, a development company from a small Russian city, communicate with the world. We don't create only plain advertisement posts, but try to write useful, diverse and fun content. It's great when our articles, photos and videos get positive feedback programmers!
Yes, our experiments do not always bring the desired result. Some say that there is too much content from PVS-Studio (we even have an article to reply to such comments http://www.viva64.com/en/b/0428/), others just don't like our style of marketing, and some people even question our sanity (video comments). No, we aren't really offended. It's just a little sad, that not all people understand - it's too boring to live without positive emotions! Our programming friends, we'll be happy to see you as the readers of our blog http://www.viva64.com/en/b/. And if there is a desire to get acquainted with the work of PVS-Studio closer, then visit our pages on various resources.
If you have ideas of other sites, where we can create a PVS-Studio account, feel free to share your idea! Write messages, leave comments, share your thoughts. We are always glad to receive adequate feedback.
See you somewhere in the Internet!
