We'd like to keep communicating with you via e-mail if you don't mind. We don't refuse other means, and if you insist on using them, we'll stick to them of course.
But here are our reasons in support of e-mail communication:
- Most emails we receive need a serious reply that takes time to prepare. Our audience is highly skilled developers and they almost never ask questions that can be found in the FAQ. All the questions are topical and serious and we need some time to prepare the answers.
- We are interested to store all the correspondence with our users in one base so that we could get back to it at any time. From this viewpoint, e-mail appears to be very convenient.
- When communicating via e-mail, it's very easy to forward an email to a more competent member of our team so that he could help give a more reliable answer.
- Time zones. We are a small team and don't have an international support service available at any time of the day. So it appears sometimes that we are sleeping when you work (Hi, USA!) or just having rest when you work (Hi, Israel!).
So we would be very thankful if you continue contacting us via e-mail. If it doesn't suit you, please suggest another convenient way and we'll be using it when dealing with you.
