# PVS\-Studio license activation

## License restrictions

The Atlas Server platform is included in the Enterprise license\.

The following restrictions affect work in Atlas Server:

* license validity;
* the total number of branches across all projects, including archived branches;
* the total number of users, including disabled ones\.

When any restriction is triggered, making changes is blocked\. Access to existing data and analysis reports remains available, and markup reports can still be saved\.

## How to enter the license

The license is entered on the **Management \> PVS\-Studio license** page\. The page is available only to users with the **Project Management** permission\.

The page contains license information and the **Edit** button:

The license status can also be viewed here\. It has the following color indicators:

* **Green**: the license is active \(more than 30 days remaining\), fewer than 60 branches are created, fewer than 60 users are registered\.
* **Orange**: the license is active \(less than 30 days remaining\), the branch limit is reached, the user limit is reached\.
* **Red**: the license has expired, the branch limit is exceeded, the user limit is exceeded\. 

## PVS\-Studio license status

The license status is displayed on the top panel\.

In the drop\-down menu, you can check the license status, submit a renewal request on the website, or open the license entry/editing page\.
