# John Carmack's QuakeCon 2011 Keynote: addressing the static code analyzers

The last week QuakeCon 2011 saw John Carmack \(co\-founder and CTO of Id Software\) recounting his experiences with static code analyzers using three tools as examples: Gimpel Software PC\-lint, Microsoft /analyze and our own PVS\-Studio\.
